THE
KULFI TABLE

The Kulfi side table is inspired by exotic ingredients, flavours and creations of this much loved dessert.

Every table is part of a limited edition collection, and not only are they super unique- they make a stunning statement piece, versatile for any space.

We are sure you are going to find a Kulfi table that is just right for your personality!

Each table is handcrafted by talented craftspeople- around 30 in total of them to be exact, each playing a part in bringing a Kulfi table to life.

Besides metal craftsmen who will be crafting each unique Kulfi base, we have partnered up with Bharat Floorings on the Kulfi tops, who bring their wealth of expertise to the casting and completing of our terrazzo. Creating a tile is a very exciting process and we’re delighted to be working with them on perfecting our different inspirations.

The Kulfi base is hand spun from sheet aluminium, buffed, grinded and polished for a seamless finish. The tops are again hand crafted by tile artisans of Bharat Floorings- several steps are taken when creating terrazzo table tops and you can see Our Process to learn more about how our tops are made.

Every Kulfi Table sold allows us to give 20% of the proceeds towards lesser known metal artisan communities across India

The Classic Collection

The classic collection is inspired by the flavours we are all familiar with, Rose, Saffron, Malai (Cream) and Pistachio.

The Chefs Collection

For the chefs collection, we have partnered with Michelin chefs and restaurants to recreate a super exclusive limited edition table inspired by their signature flavours.

We will be producing only a small limited edition of each of these special collections. Each limited edition Kulfi Table is uniquely identified with its own number and flavour engraved.

The final product is versatile, and can be used in a variety of settings, from side tables in a lounge to bedside tables holding books and a reading light. Let your space dictate where you position it, and see what part of your house to add some sweetness to.

We hope these brighten up your world in some way, and we cannot wait to see them put to good use in your spaces!

Your purchase will make a difference in promoting talented craftspeople who want nothing more than to get back to creating beautiful objects.

BOMBAY X THE KULFI TABLE

Being a popular street food, you can find Kulfi across Indian towns and cities, all unique and special to the region.

We thought the city of Bombay made for the perfect backdrop to shoot our classic flavours. Read more about these bustling locations through our eyes!

DADAR FLOWER MARKET

An early morning start at the gorgeous, bustling Dadar flower market. The day begins at 4am, where all the freshest flowers flow into the market. It's an amazing site, and we found the perfect spot for our Rose kulfi among bouquets of fresh red roses.

HOME AMONG THE FLOWERS

Our classic Rose Kulfi tops nestled among the greenery at the flower market. We had a lot of fun with the flower vendors this morning- they loved hearing about The Kulfi Project!

LALBAUG SPICE MARKET

This special place is the spice market, one of the lesser known markets of Bombay. All the masalas here are ground fresh daily, the aromas hit you as soon as you step into the lane.

THE BYLANES OF THE SPICE MARKET

Hidden within the bylanes of Lalbaug, are many small vendors who have been here for years. We stopped to chat with uncle during his tea break, he was curious about the Kulfi table and was happy when we asked if we could take a picture of his lovely spice shop.

CRAWFORD MARKET

One of the largest markets in the city, Crawford market is home to all the imported goodies you could ask for. You can find an amazing selection of nuts here, so of course it made perfect sense to shoot our Pistachio Kulfi here!

K RUSTOM

The home of fresh, delicious churned ice-cream is no other than the famous K Rustom in Churchgate. Known for their famous ice-cream sandwiches, our Malai Kulfi made its home on the steps of this iconic place.

THE ATTA WALLA

Tucked between the rows of spice shops, we came across this Atta shop ( flour shop ) where the wheat is ground fresh daily. Super fresh and a perfect place to shoot our Malai Kulfi!

LALBAUG SPICE MARKET

Among all the exotic spices, our Saffron kulfi found its perfect home. The golden hues of spices served as a stunning background, and the bags full of chillies made the perfect partner. Be warned- you'll probably sneeze a couple of times!

FLOWER VENDORS OF DADAR

There was a lot of curiosity around the Rose table being circulated around the petals. Once we explained the idea, everyone was more than happy to take a snap with our Rose Kulfi table top!
